Lorena Jackson Middleton, 88, a resident of McComb, died 1 June 1991, in Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.  

Visitation is at 8 a.m. today in Catchings Funeral Home chapel and will continue until 3:30 p.m. services there. The Rev. Bob Lynch will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.  

Mrs. Middleton was born 22 March 1903, in Pike County. She was the daughter of David Jackson and Palestine Seale Jackson.  

She was a housewife and a member of Central Baptist Church.  

She is survived by one son, Eldred Middleton of Summit; one daughter, Mrs. Hubert Carruth of Summit; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
