Yancy Clinton Hundley  

Funeral services for Yancy Clinton Hundley were held at the grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery last Friday afternoon (15 October 1943) by Dr. Elwood W. Jones. Mr. Hundley, who was 69, died last Thursday morning (14 October 1943) at his home.  

Mr. Hundley was a well-known farmer of the Courtland community, a son of the late John A. and Delia Gardner Hundley of Southampton.  

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. H.V. Thornton and Mrs. George Vick of Courtland; one brother, Gardner T. Hundley of Sedley; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were J.R. Hooke, L.W. Davis, R.M. Dickerson, George B. Vick Jr., B.H. Beale, and T.F. Hundley.
