Dies At His Home Near Holland, Ill Two Months

Samuel [Lamuel] H. Holland, 64, died at his home near Holland, this morning at 5:45 o'clock, after an illness of two months.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary E. Holland, and ten children, two daughters and eight sons, Mrs. Lucy Waldon, of Scranton, Pa.; Miss Elizabeth Holland, of Portsmouth; H. L. Holland, of Norfolk; C. P. Holland and C. M. Holland, of Portsmouth; G. E. Holland; A. L. Holland; L. H. Holland; J. R. Holland, and Vertley M. Holland, all of Holland. Three step-children, Charlie Simpson, of Cypress Chapel; Jimmie Simpson, of Holland, and Mrs. J. L. Magee of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. J. G. Lutter, Mrs. R. Johnson and Mrs. R. W. Luter, all of Nansemond County; one brother, C. E. Holland, of Holland, and six grandchildren.
