Annie Hochban Obituary Annie Mae Hochban Suffolk - Annie Mae Mastracco Hochban, who achieved her goal of living 100 years, passed away on Wednesday Sept. 9, 2015. Mae was born in Portsmouth, VA. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Cora Wimbrough Mastracco. Mae was the widow of Captain Richard J. Hochban, Retired USMM. Mae was a stellar bowler in her day. She was a part of a world's championship women's duckpin team in the early 1950's Survivors include her daughter, Gale H. Butt and husband Holt; three grandchildren, Lynne Smith and husband Loyd, Billy Butt and wife Valerie, Neal Wilson and wife Alison; 6 great grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Smith, Stephen and Jessica Butt, Liam and Lauren Wilson; 2 sisters, Doris Wood and Jean Bankos. Mae was a joyful person who loved her family dearly. She and her husband Red took their three grandchildren on many memorable camping trips. When great grandchildren arrived, she was often spotted pushing their strollers around her old Swimming Point neighborhood. Mae gave her family the most valuable gift of all, her time. A graveside funeral will be held at 11:30 a. m. Monday September 14, 2015 by Rev. Anthony Morris in Oak Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 4:00 p. m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA.
