Barbara H. Bradshaw, 79, of Salem, went to heaven on Thursday, 31 December 2015.  

She was born to the late George and Pauline Hill on 9 March 1936, in Grayson County, Virginia. She was a member of Stevens Creek Methodist Church in Fries, Virginia, since 2 December 1945. She graduated from Radford College, on the Dean's List, in 1957 with a B.A. Degree in Education. Barbara was an endeared math teacher until she retired and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students.  

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory daughter Angela B. Boyd and her husband Gordon; son John D. Bradshaw and his wife Tina; grandchildren John Anthony Bradshaw, Jason Harley Bradshaw, Dakota Bradshaw, and Katelen Boyd. She will be forever remembered by the families of her sisters and brothers: Joan H. Machara, Betty H. Routh, Marilyn H. Brewer, Ruth H. Kreh, George C. Hill, and Robin M. Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Paul Hill.  

Barbara requested her ashes be taken to the family cemetery in Fries, Virginia. A family memorial will be held in her honor at a later date.
