Sandra W. Herek

Suffolk - Sandra Wagner Herek passed away Saturday evening, July 19, 2014 at Obici Hospital. She was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Wagner, her second husband, Raymond Herek, and a step-daughter, Robyn Davis. She is survived by her parents, Colen and Anne Hodgson; daughter, Katelyn Rae Herek; twin brother, Samuel Leigh Hodgson and wife, Brenda. Also surviving are step-daughters Rae Ellyn Dias, (David), Penny Hathaway, (Chris), Rebecca Hope, (Allen), and a host of step-grandchildren. 

Sandra was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and graduated from Western Branch High School and Kee's Business College. She was a consummate mother, sister and daughter who will be greatly missed. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Michael Halley at Suffolk Christian Church, 216 North Main St., Suffolk, VA at 2pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 with a reception to follow to celebrate Sandra's life. Entombment will be on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2pm at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Suffolk Christian Church, CAPS Ministry, 216 North Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434. Condolences may be registered online at www.bakerfoster.com.
