M. Cutchins on Route 1, Franklin. He was the widower of Sarah Parker Hedgepeth and son of Elijah and Eddie Spivey Hedgepeth of Isle of Wight County, and a member of Colosse Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class. He is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Edith Stutts of Suffolk and Mrs. Mildred H. Darden of Carrsville; five sons, C. W. Hedgepeth of New Jersey, C. L. Hedgepeth of Zuni, J. I. Hedgepeth of Suffolk, L. L. Hedgepeth of Carrsville, and W. L. Hedgepeth of West Norfolk; 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
