SUFFOLK - William Madison Hedgebeth, 73, of 5 Lakeland Trailer Court, died Saturday, 30 April 1983, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.  

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Helen Louise Branscome of Suffolk; a son, William Thomas Hedgebeth of Charlottesville; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Quinn of Hampton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, 3 May 1983, in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Al Crockett.  

Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
