Born and raised in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late James Robert Blythe and Nettie Joyner Blythe. Rebie was was also predeceased by two daughters Pamela Blythe Harrison and Peggy H. Thompson, five sisters Kate Saunders, Leola Atkins, Bernice Dunn, Marjorie Cobb, and Frances Clements, and six brothers Claude, Bernard, Herman, Percy, Ashby, and Harwood Blythe. Left to cherish her memory are a daughter Sue Cutchin of Cheraw, SC, eight grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; twenty one great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Hunterdale Christian Church with the Pastor Dean Jester officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Hunterdale Christian Church.
