Mills Nathaniel Harrison at 7:55 o'clock this morning died at the residence of his daughter, Sarah V. Harrison, of 644 Douglas Avenue.  

A native of Southampton County, he was the son of the late Talbot H. and Mrs. Sarah Frances Harrison and was a resident of Suffolk until moving here three years ago. He was a retired contractor and the husband of the late Mrs. Eva Virginia Harrison.  

Besides his daughter he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. James A. Pennington, of Hallwood, Va.; two stepdaughters, Miss Bennett Wilkinson, of Washington; and Mrs. Robert A. Jernigan, of Norfolk; one stepson, Stephen Wilkinson, of Newport News; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Winborne, of Holland, Va., and one grandchild.  

The body was removed to the Snellings Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon [30 September 1948] with interment following in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
