He was a native of Franklin and lived in the Norfolk and Chesapeake area 23 years, lately at 3805 Welcome Road, Chesapeake. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War I, and retired from Norfolk and Western Railway with 35 years of service. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Miss Shirley Jean Harrison of Norfolk and Mrs. Linda Sweinhart of Cameron, N.C.; a brother, Thomas Harrison of Newport News; and two grandchildren.
