Willie Clarence Harrell, 71, father of Mrs. Melva Nugent, of Portsmouth, died yesterday at 2:45 p. m. at his home Warwick. 

A native of Whaleyville, he was a retired carpenter and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and the Woodsmen of the World.

Besides Mrs. Nugent, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Audrey, and Harrell Mrs. Jacocks, Martha of Butler, Warof Greenville. S. C. 

Funeral services will be conducted at the Calvary Baptist Church at 3:30 p. m. tomorrow. body will be to the church from the Snellings Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
