David was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Virginia Bordeaux (Atlas) of Deland, FL, his brother Wayne Hall of Portsmouth, VA, his paternal grandparents Ira & Mabel Hall of Drakes Branch, VA, and his stepson Jeremy Ford of Cape Coral, FLDavid was employed at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Norfolk, VA for 41 years. He was a welding instructor to many students by whom he was admired and respected. Left to cherish David's memory is his wife of 27 years, Catherine; stepson, Chris Ford; brother-in-law, Atlas Bordeaux; nephews, Bobby and Brian Bordeaux, multiple cousins, two aunts, and many beloved friends.
