Ida Louise Hager Nov 1898 - 4 May 1961 MRS. MADDREY FRANKLIN - Mrs. Ida Louise Maddrey, 62, wife of L. Bailey Maddrey [Sr], died Thursday at 8:20 p.m. in Raiford Memorial Hospital here after a short illness. A native of Washington, D.C., she lived in Franklin most of her life. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Surviving are two sons, Linwood B. Maddrey [Jr], photographer of the Norfolk Ledger-Star and Virginian-Pilot, and Harold J. Maddrey of Norfolk: her mother, Mrs. E. R. Hager of Washington; one brother, Russell Hager of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Nolan of Washington and Mrs. Richard E. Mower of Virginia Beach; and one granddaughter, Donna Lynne Maddrey of Norfolk. The body was taken to W. J. M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. The Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, Baptist m minister, will officiate. Interment will be in Poplar Springs Ceretery.
