A native of Brighton England and a resident of Norfolk for 45 years, he was the son of William H. and Mrs. Eliza Bingham Gilmore and the husband of Lilie Mae English Gilmore. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Selvyn Williams and Mrs. Vale Falegano, of Norfolk; two sons, William Paul Gilmore and Forrest Bingham Gilmore, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Bradshaw, of Franklin; two brothers, Ernest B. Gilmore, of Franklin, and Allen W. Gilmore, of Norfolk, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home tomorrow [24 Mar 1953] at 2 p. m. by the Rev. George W. M. Taylor, pastor of LeKies Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Christian Church Ceemtery, at Walters.
