Obituary of COLA G. FUTRELL MURFREESBORO - Cola Godwin Futrell, 75, died Friday morning in Roanoke C Hospital, Ahoskie. He hsd been a lifelong resident of Northampton County, son of the late William Patmus and Annie M. Futrell. Survivng are his widow, Mrs. Maggie Davenport Futrell of Woodland; five sons, Jesse G. Futrell Norfolk, Va., Bernie H. Futrell Murfreesboro, Rusof slel S. Futrell of Suffolk, Va., Roger M. Futrell and Howard G. Futrell of Conway; three daughters, Mrs. B. C. Barnes of Suffolk, Mrs. C. K. Rockefeller and Mrs. S. L. Buck, both of Norfolk; one brother, W. E. Futrell of Woodland; one sister, Mrs. Pattie Warren of Murfreesboro; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday p.m. at Murfreesboro Methodist Church, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Dan T. Crawford. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery, Murfreesboro.
