Jeannie Fuller Obituary Jeannie Dickerson Fuller February 6, 1951 - October 19, 2022 Boykins - Jeannie Dickerson Fuller, 71, passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2022 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born February 6, 1951 to the late Dick and Emily Dickerson. Left to cherish their memories of 35 years together is her husband, best friend and shagging partner, Jimmy Fuller of Boykins; stepson, Hank Fuller of Boykins; sisters, Peggy Bass of Courtland and Betty Edwards (Lynn) of Courtland; sister-in-law, Pat Sawyer (Carol); and special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her sister, Linda Raiford and Brothers-in-law, Charlie Bass and Walter "Jr." Raiford. Jeannie had a great love for animals. Her cat Gracie had a special place in her heart. Jeannie graduated from Southampton High School and then went to beauty school to prepare for her 47 year career as a beautician. Over the years, Jeannie made many special friendships in her beauty shop. She attended Clarksbury Church and had a special connection with the fellowship there. Jeannie loved her church and delighted in sharing her talent in decorating the church for all seasons and occasions. If you ever visited her home, you saw some of her beautiful tablescapes that were "Southern Living" worthy. There will be no service or visitation at Jeannie’s request. If you choose to do so, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Clarksbury Church, P. O. Box 172, Boykins, VA 23827 or Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P. O. Box 347, Boykins, VA 23827.
