Worrell, widow of the late James L Worell, died last night [2 Jul 1915] at 9:30 o'clock, at her residence, 428 Bart street, aged 78 years. Mrs. Worrell is survived by two sons. J. R. and L, A. Worrell of Newsoms, Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Biddle, Mrs. R. M. Baker, Portsmouth; Mrs. J. A. Biddle, Como, N. C., and Mrs. J. E. Spain, Newsoms; and one sister, Mrs. J. B. Pope of Woodland, N. C., all of whom were at her bedside at the time of her demise. Mrs. Worrell was a native of Southampton county, Va., but had lived here for a number of years.
