SUFFOLK - William Thomas Everett Sr., 60, of 231 Holladay St. died suddenly Tuesday 16 February 1960 at 6 p.m. in Obici Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late William Everett and Mrs. Nancy Fowler Everett of Nansemond County.  

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Carter Everett; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Henry of Parris Island, S.C., Miss Brenda Elizabeth Everett and Miss Irene Everett, both of Suffolk; two sons, James Allen Everett of Nansemond County and William Thomas Everett Jr. of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Underwood of Millington, Tenn., and Miss Annie Mary Everett of Norfolk; two brothers, Charlie Everett of Jarratt and James Everett of Nansemond County, and five grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be conducted at I. O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home Friday 19 February 1960 at 2 p.m. by Capt. Howard Carson, Salvation Army. Burial will be in Somerton Methodist Church Cemetery.
