Ralph was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a ship fitter with 23 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ola Jane Evans; two sisters, Mary Jefferson of Portsmouth, Joyce Reid of South Carolina; two brothers, Charles Evans and Richard Evans of Portsmouth; a special niece and nephew, Patricia Butler and Jeffery Jefferson, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 2:00 p. m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum Chapel, Chesapeake by the Rev. Tom Potter.
