Smithfield—Mrs. Charlotte English Joyner, 77, of Smithfield, died Wednesday night, 7 Jun 1972, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy E. Seward. She was a native of Isle of Wight County.  

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Harris of Richmond, Mrs. Roy E. Seward and Mrs. Pauline Edwards, both of Elberon; a son, Shirley Joyner of Windsor; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be held Saturday, 10 Jun 1972, at 2 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Robert Wilkerson of Central Hill Baptist Church and the Rev. John Crocker. Burial will be in Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
