Ridge St., will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday [23 Oct 1986] from Wrenn-Yeatts Funeral Home, North Main chapel, by the Rev. Lamarr Mooneyham and the Rev. R.J. Barber. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 and other times at the residence of her sister, Thelma Powell, 311 Marshall Terrace. Mrs. Haymore died Tuesday morning [21 Oct 1986] in The Memorial Hospital of Danville. Born Aug. 2, 1917, in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Dula T. Elliott Sr. and Minnie Thomas Elliott. Most of her life was spent in Danville and she was employed by Dan River Inc. She was married to Shirley B. Haymore, who died in 1976. Mrs. Haymore was a member of Baptist Tabernacle. Survivors include one son, Tommy Joe Hardy, Edgewood, Md.; one daughter, Sandra Elizabeth Haymore, Norfolk; four sisters, Louise Dix, Pelham, N.C., Dorothy Green, Norfolk, Thelma Powell, Danville, and Lucy Jones, Mt. Herman; one brother, D.T. Elliott Jr., Dry Fork; and two stepgrandchildren.
