**JOE T. EDMONDSON**  

Conway - Joe T. Edmondson, 75, died Wednesday, 30 June 1982, at a local nursing center after a long illness.  

Born in Horry County, he was a son of the late Willie Lee and Dora Pinner Edmondson. Prior to retirement, he was associated with the S.C. Highway Department for 47 years.  

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura H. Edmondson; son, Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Edmondson Jr. of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Ed W. Edmondson of Conway; five sisters, Mrs. Cheslee Rogers of Elizabethtown, N.C., Mrs. Jessamine Harrelson and Mrs. Bruce (Frances) Anderson of Conway, Mrs. Edna Godfrey of High Point, N.C., and Mrs. Shannon (Irma) Barnes of Myrtle Beach; and a granddaughter.  

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today, 1 July 1982, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  

The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the First Baptist Church of Conway.
