Mrs. Laura D. Felts Mrs. Laura Dunn Felts, 68. died at her home in Boykins at 10:30 Thursday night [19 Feb 1948].

She is survived by her husband, John B. Felts of Boykins: two daughters, Mrs. M. E. Whitehead of Murfreesboro, N. C., and Mrs. Jules M. Miller of Hampton; one son, Joe W. Felts of Boykins: five stepchildren, Mrs. J. H. Griffin of Boykins, Mrs. F. W. Beck of Detroit, Mich.; J. C. Felts of Garrett, Va.: J. B. Felts Jr., and W. E. Felts of Baltimore, Md.: one sister, Mrs. H. W. Avent of Capron; one brother, J. M. Dunn of Yale, four grandchildren, and 13 step grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday [22 Feb 1948] in Boykins Baptist church, with the Rev. N. B. Hebel officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. L. Sturtevant, Boykins, and the Rev. J. L. Johnson of Bassett. Burial will be in Beechwood cemetery, Boykins.
