Duck HOPEWELL - Daniel Voyshwees Duck, 70,- of 1202 Pine St, died Tuesday morning in Mcguire Veterans Hospital, Richmond. An employe of Celanese Corp., he retired after 36 years service with the company. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Hopewell American Legion Post 80 and the First Christian Church of Hopewell. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mills H, Duck of Zuni, he had resided here for the past 37 years. Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Ealo Manley Duck of Hopewell; two daughters, Mrs. William Costenbader and Mrs, Otto Okum of Hopewell; four brothers, soloman Duck, Burgess S, Duck, W. J. Duck and John B. Duck all of Isle of Wight County; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Isle of Wight County and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in the chapel of the Gould Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert M. Johnston, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell.
