Suffolk, Nov. 8.-Mrs. Bessie Mae Carr, 53. died at a local hospital today at 5 p. m. after a short illness. 

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Emilv Holland and Mrs. Mildred Harrell. both Suffolk; Mrs. Vergie McClenney of Holland, and Miss Flossie Carr, of Lynchburg; a son, John M. Carr, of Suffolk; and two brothers, B. H. Duck, of Franklin, and Elisha Duck, of Carrsville. 

The body has been taken to I. O. Hill Funeral Home, where it will rest until 2:30 p. m. Wednesdav. when funeral services will be held at Collosse Baptist Church. The Revs. Jack Boles and H. L. Foster will officiate. Burial will be the.
