A native of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Harry Moss and Eunice Edwards Drewry and the widower of Lucille Story Drewry. Mr. Drewry was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church. He served more than 20 years on the Southampton County School Board and was a charter member and first president of Boykins Lions Club. He was a retired salesman for Conwood Corporation and a graduate of Oak Ridge Military School. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Matt Pridgen and her husband, Kenny, of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Drewry Nash Fennell, Elisabeth F.
