GRAFTON - John Roland "J.R." Davidson Jr., 57, died Saturday, Aug. 25, in Mary Immaculate Hospital, Newport News.

A native of Franklin, Mr. Davidson retired as a realtor with Davidson Realty Co. He was a member of Grafton Baptist Church, the Hampton Elks Club and the York River Exchange Club. He was a Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Erika Davidson; two daughters, Claudia Corum of Mobile, Ala., and Kelly Deal of Yorktown; a son, Douglas R. Davidson of Hampton; and one granddaughter.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton, by the Rev. Donald P. Stroud.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in Amory Funeral Home.
