Joseph Crawford Cutchins Sr 20 DEC 1890 - 21 SEP 1947 Funeral services were held at three o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home of W. J. M. Holland & Son; for Joe C. Cutchins, 55, a well-known farmer of this community, who died Sunday, September 21, after a brief illness. Rev. W. B. Watson, pastor of the Black Creek Baptist Church of which Mr. Cutchins was a member, officiated, assisted by Rev. R. D. Stephenson of Cradock. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mr. Cutchins is survived by four sons, Jack Cutchins, J. C. Cutchins, Jr., Roger Lee Cutchins and Carlton Cutchins, all of Franklin; five daughters, Mrs. Blanche Halderman of Hampton, Mrs. Thelma Williams of Norfolk, and Misses Bernice Cutchins, Ernestine Cutchins and Faye Cutchins, all of Franklin; a brother, Faddie Cutchins of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. W.
