Joyner Dies; Prominent in Franklin Franklin, Sept. 26-Mrs. Dana Cutchin Joyner, 54, prominent resident of Franklin, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital Tuesday night after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Jody and Anna Bradshaw Cutchin of Southampton County. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years. Surviving are her husband, Charlie J. Joyner of Franklin; one son, James C. Joyner of Franklin; two grandehildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Caroon of Franklin; Mrs. Mary Harcum of Portsmouth; three brothers, Joe Cutchin, Harvey Cutchin and Clyde Cutchin all of Franklin, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Holland Funeral Home in Franklin on Thursday will be taken to the Franklin Baptist Church where it will remain one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral services will be at p. m. The Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, the Rev. R. D. Stephenson and the Rev. Melvin Dollar will officiate. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Franklin.
