WINDSOR - Mrs. Dorothy Crocker Underwood, 69, of Route 3, died Monday 2 Dec 1985 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.  

She was born in Isle of Wight County.  

She had been employed by Hancock Peanut Co. for 29 years.  

She was a member of Central Hill Baptist Church and its Ruth Bible class.  

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ann U. Jones of Franklin and Mrs. Dorothy Jean U. Nurnney of High Point, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today 4 Dec 1985 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Mark R. Buckner and the Rev. Richard T. Diekmann.  

Burial will be in Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield.  

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions.
