Virginia Beach - James Douglas Creecy, Jr., 47, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. 

Doug was born in Portsmouth, the son of J. Douglas Creecy, Sr. and the late Martha Ann Creecy. Doug graduated from Churchland High School and attended Old Dominion University. He was a businessman and President of Final Rail, Inc. Doug was an avid golfer and member of the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club. 

Besides his father, he is survived by a son, Ryan M. Creecy; a brother, Brian Creecy and his wife Lisa and a grandmother, Onnie E. Coppedge. He was predeceased by his sister, Lori Ann Creecy. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday May 22, 2013 at the Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p. m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oasis Social Ministry, 800 Williamsburg Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23704. Condolences may be registered at www.bakerfoster.com.
