Stuart Crawford Obituary Stuart "Skip" Crawford III July 3, 1968 - May 17, 2024 Franklin - Stuart "Skip" Cottrell Crawford III, 55, passed away at Consulate Nursing Home Friday, May 17, with his mom and dad at his side. Stuart was born in San Angelo, Texas and grew up in Franklin, VA. He was the son of William and Joan Wolfe, and the late Stuart (Scotty) Crawford Jr. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Elsie Atkinson. Skip was a graduate of Franklin High School, and worked in the local automotive dealerships, and with Blake Ford for the last 25 plus years. He enjoyed NASCAR races and was a faithful fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a boy scout. He loved family gatherings with his family and friends. At an early age Skip enjoyed reading the Bible and spent his life getting an understanding of the words and how they pertained to life. He was a strong believer and had found his home at Sedley Baptist Church where he enjoyed his fellowship with the Disciples Sunday School Class. Left to cherish his memory is his mother and father, Joan and Bill Wolfe, brother James (Audrey) Crawford, step-father Forrest (Lisha) Wolfe, Justin (David) Wolfe, and stepsister Wendy (Ray) Edwards, nieces and nephews, Ryan (Melissa) Wolfe, Peyton Wolfe, Michael (Alex) Drewry, Whitley and Jackson Smith, Ryland (Stephanie) Edwards, great-aunt Ciara, and cousins in Chatham, VA, his uncle Mike Wolfe and beloved step uncle and aunt, Frankie and Sandra Edwards, and dear friends Diane and Blake Blythe.
