COUNCILL

Robbie Clarence Councill, of 1443 Clay St., Franklin, died Thursday 5 August 1982 in a hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, and the husband of Mrs. Ruby H. Councill. He was a farmer and a businessman.

Mr. Councill was a member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church, and a member of its Board of Trustees, a member of the Men's Bible Class, and a former deacon. He was a charter member of the Franklin Lion's Club and a member of the P.D. Camp Hunt Club. Surviving in addition to his wife, is one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy C. Beale; and one son, Robbie C. Councill, Jr., both of Franklin; one sister, Rosa C. Sheffield of Suffolk: six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held today 7 August 1982 at 2 P.M. at Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Congregational Christian Church or the Franklin Rescue Squad. Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
