Edith Cobb Obituary  

Edith Council Cobb, 97, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Alton Council and Eulala Horne Council. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Reginald Cobb, Sr., and son, Warren Reginald Cobb, Jr.  

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Frances I. Cobb; grandson, Paul Warren Cobb (Krissy); great-grandson, Jesse Warren Cobb; special nieces, Juanita C. Butler (Robert) and Michelle C. Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Her service will be private. Interment will take place at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, 37527 Seacock Chapel Rd., Zuni, Va. 23898. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tucker Swamp Cemetery Fund. R.W. Baker & Co. Wakefield Chapel is serving the family.
