Pat D. Cotton, 98, a native of Southampton who retired as a farmer and was the oldest member of Sycamore Baptist Church, died Thursday, 3 March 1994.  

Survived by two daughters, Valentine C. White of Woodland, N.C., and Joyce C. Wynns of Boone, N.C.; a son, Allen Francis "Pat" Cotton of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.  

Funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday [5 March 1994] at Sycamore Baptist Church by Dr. Reginald Warren. Burial in Cotton Family Cemetery. Visitation at the home place.  

Memorials to Sycamore Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
