Suffolk - Jodi Page Corley, 36, passed away April 25, 2014 in Suffolk, Va. Jodi was a graduate of Portsmouth Christian School, received her B. S. from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, and her M. A. from Washington State University. She taught at Clemson State University while working on her Ph. D. in Creative Writing and Rhetoric. Jodi also had a great love for animals. She was predeceased by her sister, Scarlette C. Flowe. 

Left to cherish her memory are her mother and stepfather, Ruth K. and John Staley of Suffolk; her father, Thomas A. Corley of Greenwood, S. C. ; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. 

A memorial service will be held at 3 p. m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbaker.com.
