Lois Cobb Obituary Lois Brown Cobb July 28, 1935 - June 19, 2024 Franklin - Lois Brown Cobb, 88, passed away June 19, 2024 in The East Pavilion. She was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Skidler and Catherine Bailey Brown. Lois was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church and the Womens Fellowship. She was a 1952 graduate of Courtland High School and was a retired bookkeeper for Lee M. White, Inc. Lois was an avid reader and crocheter and beloved Wife, Mother and Grandma. Left to cherish her memory are her Husband of 70 years, Melton Rawls Cobb; three daughters, Cathy C. Felts and her husband, David of Sedley; Robin C. Ellis and her husband, Robert Earl, Jr. of Windsor; and Amy R. Cobb of Virginia Beach; one son, Walter A. Cobb of Franklin; five grandchildren: Patrick C. Felts, Madison C. Ellis, Amanda E. Pittman and her husband Ryan, Aaron R. Felts, and Meredith E. Speight and her husband John; three great grandchildren, Thomas James Pittman, Clayton Cobb Ellis, and John Earl Speight and a host of nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Charles Brown. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Hunterdale Christian Church with Pastor Dean Jester officiating. The burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Sedley. Following the service there will be a reception in the Church Fellowship Hall.
