BARNESVILLE- Asmer Dewey Clark, 71, of 135 Atlanta St., died Wednesday at his residence after a long illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Midway Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Eastview Cemetery in Zebulon. The Rev. Bill Coleman will officiate. 

Mr. Clark, a native of Pike County, had lived in Barnesville most of his life. He was a retired billiard room operator and a member of the Midway Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence S. Clark of Barnesville; a son, Danny Clark McKibben of Barnesville; eight sisters, Mrs. Bena Ballard and Mrs. Lennie Perkins of Griffin, Mrs. Annie Maude McKibben of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Mattie Lois Frazier of Forsyth, Mrs. Florence Laney, Mrs. Betty Powell and Mrs. Bobbie Bankston of Barnesville and Mrs. Emily Conley of Milner; four brothers, Cecil Clark of Cleveland, Marvin Clark of Griffin, Burton Clark of Macon and Larry Clark of Barnesville; two grandchildren.
