Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Grace C. Cheely; daughters Stephanie Whitley (Roger) of Suffolk and Pamela Davis (Jason) of Chesapeake; son J. T. Cheely (Debbie) of Rescue; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 

A funeral service will take place at Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church, 3488 Godwin Blvd, Suffolk VA 23434 on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11 AM by Rev. Ruffin Alphin. Burial will be private at Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA. Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk is serving the family. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church, Mission Fund. Condolences may be offered at BakerFoster.com.
