NATHAN C. CASHWELL 

Roanoke Rapids Funeral services for Nathan Connor Cashwell, 78, were held at the First Baptist Church Wednesday and burial followed in the Cedarwood Cemetery. He died following a long illness.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bettie Word Cashwell, and the following children: Henry Cashwell, Mrs. Bessie Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; Mrs. A. W. Davis of Selma; Mrs. R. C. Ussery of Warrenville, S. C.; Mrs. P. J. Bright of Panama City, Fla. Nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
