He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Austin Hyatt (Rob); granddaughter, Madeline; his sister, Beverley Brinkley (Rusty); and her family. 

The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m., with a masonic service at 6 p.m. Sunday, February 20, at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkway. A cryptside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 2L at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
