The Rev. Garland T. Moore, of Cradock, officiated, assisted by the Rev. G. D. Poythress, of South Norfolk, and the Rev. H. E. Crutchfield of Windsor. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Carr was the son of the late James A and Rebecca English Carr, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Carr; two sons, Julian and Lonnie Carr of Walters; a daughter, Mrs. Reba Gay, of Walters; two brothers, James A. Carr, of Walters, and W. E. Carr, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Blythe, of Holland, and Mrs. Ella Bradshaw of Carrsville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were Elvin T.
