The deceased was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Sue Carr of Franklin, and the son of the late Samuel Henry and Texanner [Texanna] Bradshaw Carr of Isle of Wight County. Besides his wife he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. William Darden of Isle of Wight County, Mrs. J. R. Boyette of Franklin, Mrs. J. L. Byrd of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Joseph Harrison of Norfolk. Final rites for Mr. Carr were conducted at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday from the residence. Officiating were Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, and Rev. R. D. Stephenson of Franklin. Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery, the pallbearers being John Beale, Ernest B. Gilmore, G. J. Johnson, Charles O.
