Funeral of S. H. Carr Samuel H. Carr of Isle of Wight was buried Monday evening. Services were held at 3 o'clock in the Beaver Dam Baptist church.

Mr. Carr is survived by nine children, Mrs. S. E. Babb of Norfolk, Mrs. H. C. Duke of Suffolk, Mrs. J. R. Boyette, Mrs. W. H. Harrison, Miss Cora Lee Carr, William Carr, Charles E. Carr and S. Paul Carr of Franklin, and Mrs. L. M. Byrd of Portsmouth, and 12 grandchlldren.
