CARRSVILLE — Mrs. Beunie Virginia Carr Rose, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, 76, of 31315 Harvest Dr., died on 8 January 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. A native of Crew, she was the daughter of the late Chester L. Carr and Dollie Virginia Rhodes Carr. She was predeceased by a brother, Delman R. Carr.  

Mrs. Rose was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, Isle of Wight County.  

Survivors include her husband, William H. Rose; two sons, Philip R. Rose and his wife, Peggy V., of Carrsville; a sister, Altha Butler West of Colosse; and four grandchildren, Sonya J. Rose Hall, Sherry L. Rose, Timothy C. Rose, and William Brent Rose.  

The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, 11 January 1996, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Steve Bradshaw at Harrell Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Carr Family Mausoleum in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.  

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and other times at the residence.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Colosse Baptist Church.
