WASHINGTON － Mrs. Mary McLane Byrne, wife of John F. Byrne of Washington, died Tuesday [23 Feb 1960] in a Washington hospital.

She was the former Miss Mary McLane, daughter of the late John Robert and Mrs. Rebecca Scott McLane of Franklin.Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Cullins and Mrs. Dorothy Bryant of Silver Spring, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Baker and Mrs. Virginia Fuller of Norfolk and Mrs. Martha Beale and Mrs. Jonnie Thorne of Franklin, and five grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at Hines Funeral Home, Washington, Friday [26 Feb 1960] at 2 p.m.  Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery.
