Barbara Byrd Obituary Barbara Byrd, 83, of Suffolk, Va. passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was born to the late John and Betty Fox. She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Charles Mark Byrd; and brother in law, Sam Byrd. Barbara was an avid knitter and blessed 100's of babies by giving them car seat blankets. She was a longtime member of the Sweet Adelines, enjoying singing and traveling. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Byrd; sons, James Byrd (Carole) and William Byrd (Jill); grandchildren, Megan Byrd, Abraham Byrd (Ginger), and Rebecca Miles (Chase); great grandchildren, Dale, Emma, William, and Carolyn Kinyon, Malachi and Margaret Byrd and Tyler Miles; siblings, Donna Page, Linda Lueck, and John Fox; and brother in laws, Randy, Richard, and Keith Byrd.
