MACON - Nell Butler Williams, 97, died 21 June 2004 in Edgeview Nursing Home. Private graveside rites at 11 A.M. Thursday in Moultrie, GA with Rev. Roger Benton officiating. Interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.  

Nell Williams was born to Frank and Minnie Butler in Carrsville, VA on 16 December 1906. Formerly of Moultrie, GA, she resided at Edgeview Nursing Home since 1996. She attended First Baptist Church in Moultrie and was a homemaker. Her spouse, Ralph Williams, and son, Dr. Ralph Williams Jr., preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Floyd B. Williams of Macon, GA, Lloyd B. Williams of Montgomery, AL; daughter A. Claude Williams of Atlanta, GA; brother Wilson Butler of Carrsville, VA; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
