Ed was employed as an engineer with the Maryland Highway Administration. Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Edith Cadell Burtis; his daughter, Jillian Hunter of Annapolis; and his sister, Claire B. Fowler of Annapolis. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment private.
